Stain removal Bleaching methods are classified into two categories Oxidative and reductive.
Oxidative bleach functions as an oxidizer that will produce hypochlorous acid (HClO) and hydrochloric acid (HCl) or oxygen that reacts to erode stain particles on the general color layer. Chlorine Bleach has the active ingredient Natrium hypochlorite(NaOCI) and Calcium Hypochlorite(Ca[OCI]).
Hydrogen bleach has the active ingredient Hydrogen Peroxide(H2O2).
Reduction Bleach has the active ingredient Sodium dithionite.
The types of bleach on the market are generally known as Bayclin, Soklin White, Vanish White (Hypochlorite), and Vanish Color (Hydrogen Peroxide).
